Dr. Renaud, born and raised in Taunton, MA, received his medical degree, with honors, from Tufts University in Boston, MA. He went on to complete his orthopedic residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester where he was part of an orthopedic team that provided sports medicine coverage for the Boston Red Sox. Dr. Renaud served as a Major with the US Air Force. He was Chief of Orthopedic Surgery and Podiatry at Pease Air Force Base in New Hampshire and later stationed at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, where he was team physician for several NCAA Division 1 sports programs.

Dr. Renaud holds a Massachusetts License to practice medicine and is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon with a Subspecialty Certification in Orthopedic Sports Medicine from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is a member in good standing of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the Massachusetts Medical Society.

Dr. Renaud has specialized training in endoscopic carpal tunnel release, shoulder and knee arthroscopic surgery, hip replacement and total knee replacement. Dr. Renaud's philosophy is to explore treatment options that recognize each patient's individuality.

Dr. Renaud works closely with implant manufacturing companies to prepare custom, patient-specific guides for all knee replacement patients and custom implants for all partial knee replacement patients. This pre-operative planning has paid dividends for Dr. Renaud's patients in terms of length of surgery, post-operative discomfort and ease of rehabilitation.
